Items 4 - 6 - 4. Closed Session under Texas Government Code Chapter 551, Subchapters D and E
A. Pursuant to Section 551.074 of the Texas Government Code, deliberation regarding the appointment,
employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline, or dismissal of a public officer and/or
employee.
Pursuant to Section 551.071 of the Texas Government Code, to consult with the District's attorney, in person or by phone, on a matter in which the duty of the attorney to the District under the Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct of the State Bar of Texas clearly conflicts with Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code.
Pursuant to Section 551.082 of the Texas Government Code, to deliberate in a case: 1) involving discipline of a public school child; or 2) in which a complaint or charge is brought against an employee of the school district by another employee and the complaint or charge directly results in a need for a hearing.
Pursuant to Section 551.0821 of the Texas Government Code, to deliberate a matter regarding a public school student if personally identifiable information about the student will necessarily be revealed by the deliberation.
1. Consultation with the Board's attorney regarding the procedures for a Level III appeal.
2. Conduct hearing regarding the Level III appeal filed by Carol Kastner, pursuant to Board Policies DGBA(LEGAL) and DGBA(LOCAL).
